Hello, neighbor

Hello neighbors!

Thanks for all of you that have jogged beside me as I warm-up for the District 6 School Board race.  Now it’s time to run—and I’m ready!  Let’s go!

More than ever in our recent years public education is threatened by reduction of funding, reduction of support and resources, pressure to adopt emerging technologies with little to no evidence to show educational value, and mounting life pressures on our students.  It’s harder than ever to be a parent/caregiver today because it’s harder than ever to be a kid today!  In the midst of these challenges WPS is still working hard for students, but we need to keep going to ensure we give all students a chance to succeed and establish a lifelong love of learning. We NEED strong public education AND we need strong public servants to be vocal. I’m ready to serve District 6 as that vocal and informed presence on the USD 259 School Board and push for solutions that provide a real education and real success.

I ask for your support as we enter this election season.  Spread the word about getting registered to vote and be an informed voter! I invite you to look at all the information on this website- learn about me, the initial issues I’m addressing (because I could only highlight 4 to start), and when you feel yourself saying “yes, we need to do something about that” please contribute to my campaign so we CAN do something about it and send me an email to share your thoughts!

My husband and I grew up in Wichita and after his time with the Navy we moved back nearly a decade ago to put down roots.  Since that time, I’ve volunteered consistently in my kids’ schools (and advocated for children at the local, state and national level) and with my own 3 children attending WPS, a brother and many close friends teaching in the district, I know what’s at stake!

All this is for naught if you don’t get out and VOTE! There is no primary for the District 6 School Board seat, but you DO want to mark your calendar for Tuesday, November 4th, 2025 for the general election. Check your voting status HERE and spread the word about Registering to Vote!

Remember Amy Warren for Wichita Public Schools! Real education. Real connection. Real success for all WPS students.

Sincerely,

 Amy
